Part Time Perm Live Out Nanny – Chelsea Job Ref LI-C

A young family in Chelsea are looking for a cheerful, bubbly nanny to join them on a part time permanent basis. The children are a little girl of 14 months at home and her brother who is 5.5 years old and at school.

This family can be flexible on exact days and hours but ideally they would be looking for Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 10:00 – 19:00 (which is 27h).

If the candidate is perfect and wanted more hours then they could make it 8am to 8pm which will be 36h.

Another configuration is to do Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday (or Sunday) 10:00 – 19:00 which is also 36h.

They would love to do a few weeks temp first to ensure everyone is happy before moving to permanent but this is not essential if the right nanny is not free to temp first. It is also possible that more days can be added in the future if the nanny would like this but it is not a requirement. The client would prefer a nanny who is local to Chelsea  – so no more than 30 minutes door to door.

The role will involve some sole charge and some working alongside the mother who is at home. A typical day will involve taking the younger child out to activities and then collecting the older child from school and doing activities with him while the mother will be with the younger child. Must be capable of sole charge of both together and happy to work alongside mum sometimes. This role will suit a fun lively and energetic “big sister” type nanny, the little boy is very active and likes to be out and about.

You will not need heaps of experience for this one but should have some recent previous nanny experience with the younger ones age group and great references from this

This family do not have English as a first language so they would like the nanny to have native level English so that the children will be read for the school system

No driving needed, no pets, no travel. The focus is on child development as they have a cleaner, but the nanny should be happy to keep the children’s rooms tidy and cook their lunch/ dinner etc

The start date is asap the family are happy to pay the market rate.
